FUNCTION:                      Handleset / Typically used on front doors.
                                          The latchbolt is operated by a thumbpiece on the exterior and a knob or lever on the interior.
                                          The handle can be locked by using the key on the exterior or turning the turnbutton on the inside knob or lever
                                          trim.

Helpful Hints:

• You can combine a deadbolt with this handleset, giving you a two point locking handleset.
• This handle has an emergency egress feature.  If the handle is locked, from the inside, you do not have to turn the turnbutton on the knob or lever to unlock the handle portion prior to opening the door.  If you do not physically turn this turnbutton to the unlock position and the door closes behind you, you will be locked out.
