663 Series One-Sided Deadbolt

The Kwikset 663 Deadbolt is a one-sided standard duty deadbolt.  It is specifically designed for rental property and to protect tenants from someone gaining access with a key.  If the tenant is home and has this deadbolt locked, there is no way for anyone to gain access with a key (there is no cylinder on the exterior side).

Helpful Hint:

• This deadbolt requires a 1-5/8” crossbore halfway through the door thickness only. If your door has been bored completely through the door, you will need to order a 663 (one-sided deadbolt) and 664 (blank plate).
