FUNCTION:                    Double Cylinder Handleset / Typically used on front doors.
                                       The latchbolt is operated by a thumbpiece on the exterior and a knob or lever                                        on the interior.  The deadbolt is operated by a key on the exterior and                                         interior.

Helpful Hint:    Double Cylinder deadbolts are typically used when there is glass within 3' of the door.  A double cylinder prevents someone from breaking the glass and reaching through and opening the deadbolt from the inside.  If you choose a double cylinder, have a plan to exit in case of an emergency - you will need a key to exit the house if the door is locked.
