Interior Knob or Lever Options:
When purchasing a handleset, an interior pack must be selected for the interior side of your door.  This interior pack consists of all pieces you would see on the inside of your door (knob or lever and interior deadbolt trim).  The finish will automatically match the finish that you have already selected for your exterior handleset.  

Knobs:  (Right or Left Hand Doors; Non-Handed)

      

Reversible Levers:  (Right or Left Hand Doors; Non-Handed)

 

Handed Levers:  (Determine Door Handing - see diagram below)

   


Handing Option:
The following lever styles are handed:   Balboa, Lido, and Tustin.  With these lever styles, you will need to determine the handing of your door to ensure your lever is positioned properly.  Follow the instructions below to determine the handing of your door.



To determine door handing for Kwikset levers, it does not make a difference if the door swings in or out, if the hinges are exposed on the inside or outside of the door, or what function or style you are trying to hand. The easiest way to determine door handing is to face the outside of the door you are trying to hand:

If the door hinges (pivots) from the left side of the door, you need

Left Hand (LH)

door hardware.

If the door hinges (pivots) from the right side of the door, you need

Right Hand (RH)

door hardware.

Example:  If you wanted to determine handing for your front entry door, follow these simple steps:

Step 1 - Go to the exterior side of the door (outside of your house)

 

Step 2 - Close door

 

Step 3 - Face door

 

Step 4 - Determine which side the door is hinged (pivots) on.  That is the handing of the door hardware you need.

Helpful Hints:

• There are two main reasons for offering the interior pack as a separate item:
  1. Allows you to have many different choices of knob styles and lever styles to complement other interior hardware in your home.
  2. You can purchase split finish handlesets (exterior side one color; interior side a different color).  If this option interests you, please make a note in the comments box during checkout specifying the interior trim pack color. If this is not noted; we will send the interior pack in the same finish as the exterior handleset.

• If you wish to view a specific knob or lever in a specific finish, go to the left navagation buttons and select either knobs or levers to view specific styles in specific colors.
• There is an option to not have an interior pack included with the handleset.  If you choose this option please be aware that Kwikset changes thier hardware on a regular basis.  It may look the same; however, it may mount completely different.  If you are trying to match older pieces with new pieces, you may run into some issues.
