- The Kwikset 5" Backset Deadlatch is designed to be used on all keyed entry functions.
- It will work on 5" backsets only.
- This latch has a square corner faceplate staked on and is a complete unit.
- Comes with two mounting screws for easy installation.
- This deadlatch may also be used in a plainlatch application requiring a 5" backset (passage and privacy functions).
- This deadlatch is not compatible with the following Levers: Carson, Halifax, Kingston, Lisbon, Milan, Montreal and Sydney.
